It's definitely becoming outdated. There are some notable sections I feel were glossed over toward the latter half.

La modélisation de l'herbe est bien expliqué. Le formateur parle un peu trop vite et les sous-titres sont hasardeux.

I've been doing high-end 3D work professionally for forever and still found this course invaluable . . . lots of great knowledge and insight into the topic of real-time foliage.

Creating basic foliage is delivered fairly well here albeit only covering some basics. The more in-depth areas are glossed over quickly without much hand holding especially with the UDK section. Only one tree and one clump of grass is covered in the tutorial, making the glamorous header image a bit misleading. The worst thing is the tutor has this mouth clicking or sucking air through the teeth habit as he delivers the tutorial which is incredibly distracting and annoying. Overall I was a little dissappointed with this course, but I did still learn a few things about basic foliage creation.

The course is providing useful information clearly and with detailed explanations of the modeling technique used for foliage and some useful tips for other types of modeling as well. I picked up some knowledge of 3DS functions I hadn't used before. A small critique: I think it may be helpful to show the ultimate outcome in the beginning of the lesson, and provide review or summary of steps for reference -- I expect I'll need to refer to the course later so a breakdown of steps would be faster than searching the videos.
