There are paintings suitable for different seasons and a variety of special occasions. And what's even better most of the paintings will only take you about 10 minutes to paint. So once you get into a rhythm you will be building up quite a collection to mount however you wish onto blank cards.

this was excellent for me as I already make all occasion cards & time to start on the Christmas themed cards. Have not made a lot of Thanksgiving cards, so best be looking into some of those also.

Nicola had some very good ideas and presented in a light and fun sort of way.
It's another winner from Nicola Blakemore. These cards are challenging for me (a beginner), yet accessible to my level of ability. More experienced painters will probably do them better, but I am finding that a hand painted card is a very exciting gift for everyone to whom I've given one - regardless of perfection or lack of perfection. One thing that I really love about this course (and all her course, for that matter) are the many practical tips and lessons that carry forward into other projects. In other words, I've learned a lot more than just how to paint a few cards. Painting has helped bring me out of a deep depression in the last six weeks and these easier paintings are a great way to get lost in creativity - with a beautiful product at the end. Thanks, nicola!
