ONLY seven easy steps to create a fabulous painting and learn as you paint.
This is a 'learn as you paint'  workshop, and by that I mean you will learn how to use watercolour paints as you paint a picture. So you will have a super painting at the end of the process as well as learning a new skill.
I have painted this a number of times with slight changes, for people, it's atmospheric, it reminds people of their holidays in warmer climates and it could be anywhere. So why not do that yourself?
You will learn how to do simple washes and create a plaster and old stone wall effect, create a realistic window with perspective, deal with glass and reflections and get to grips with colour values.
It's EASY to follow, stop and start as you wish, relax and enjoy working as and when it suits you and at your own pace.
At any time you can post questions for any advice and also for feedback on your finished painting.Â

Although I've already done most of Nicola's beginner lessons, I'm still battling with things that Nicola thinks I can do without demonstrating like putting on the wax resist (it was off camera) drawing the window (took me two hours), mixing the right shade on the palette (off camera). I wonder if I've been too ambitious trying this one, but I can't see many other beginner ones that appeal to me.
I liked this course very much. Nicola is fun to listen to and learn from. Her videos are clear, large and close-up, which helps us see the results of each technique she teaches. She makes experimenting fun! Thanks to her, I am improving all the time!
