The instructor does not seem sure of some technical things and keeps saying ,'I believe it changes by 30 degree intervals'.
This is a very nice beginner's course on using GIMP. The lectures are short, to the point, and easy to listen to, with very little background noise. The course is pretty short, only 25 lectures, so I hope Chris continues to add new subjects to the course, because GIMP is a very big program.
The content was fine. However, I am a true beginner and it was very frustrating that Chris would mostly describe what he was doing to an image, and then do it very quickly without showing or identifying the menu items he was clicking, or potential difficulties a beginner might have. So many times I would have to re-watch the segment several times to try and see, or try to figure out, which menu items he had selected.
This was a minimal learning course for beginners. Lectures 12, 13, 14 should be with the beginning lectures.
Too much time was spent on how to make a book cover, silhouette, etc without taking the time to identify the tools used to make the item.
Take the time to identify the tools you use as you progress.
