Frankly I don't know how to describe this course. One of my 1.5 stars comes form section 8 describing SolidJS extensions as that is pretty useful stuff. There are several websites that do the same thing, but we can see them in action here. So that's a positive thing. But it almost completely ends with that.

But other than a few overview videos in the first 7 sections providing a bit of context, that 8.5 hours is pretty much a waste of time. You can sit through it watching someone use each of the controls from the SolidJS documentation site one by one, in painful detail.

This is especially true when it comes to showing repeated blocks of the same kind of content. Instead of having it ready and pasting it in all at once, you watch it slowly be typed.

And all the while, the narration is pausing. at. almost every. word. Thenrunningquicklythrough. several. before. pausing. a lot. It took most of the first 2 or 3 sections for me to be able to follow without frustration.

I thought "oh it will get better when the 4 project sections start. And the first 4 or 5 sections of the first project are somewhat interesting, but then everything after that is effectively the same. More box content divs and media blocks. Lots and lots of them. Manually typed. If you enjoy watching someone type in their resume, this course if for you.

It's not instructional. It's watching someone type something while looking at the correct code on another screen. And not using copy/paste. And the narration... if that is due to English being a second language, then I'm sorry, the English is very good, but the irregular pace is horrible and distracting. Maybe do courses in Danish if that is the case.

At any rate, the other three projects seemed almost the same. Their goals were different, but they are all comprised of the same elements.

If the goal had been to show how to use different elements and components together in combinations... or best practices for their use... or how solid is different so here are the gotchas... or something instructional rather than watching someone work through the docs and then type in a lot of resume content, it would have had some purpose. But this is many hours of my life I'll never get back.

One full star for section 8. Half star for miscellaneous other things, like the description of "box content" and showing the effect. More of that would be good.

Learning-Kit alone would worth the money for the course. It is brilliant and very helpful learning Bulma. Then the projects are very real life examples and useful. Great job!!!

Certaines classes auraient besoin d'une explication ou d'un exemple pratique pour en comprendre l'utilité.
