Great course.
I am very familiar with Maya so this course is a good fit for me. I do feel it might be hard for someone who is brand new to Maya
Good starting point for someone learning.
This gentleman is my favorite-- the explanations and pace are perfect for learning Maya. Instead of multiple edits, he takes the time to work thru and speak thru each step of the process.
My only request to improve the courses would be to add saved files to assist with continuity between sections of the tutorial.
Maya is an extremely complicated program and some parts aren't completely clear. Some parts of using the tool do not reflect what is going on in the video. Although it would be impossible to account for every difference in settings/preferences that would cause issues for the users, the teacher explains how to solve some potential issues that may arise, but doesn't mention others. Again, I understand that it's impossible to account for all potential issues, but being unable to solve these made me rely on using internet searches in conjunction with the lesson and my model started deviating from the example, which led me to use different potentially worse techniques. But the teacher does show a lot of skills and fundamentals.
