Skip Spitzer
Skip Spitzer is a photographer and principal of Getting Deeper into the Wilderness and Wilderness Skills PDX, where he teaches hiking, backpacking, and other outdoor skills. A skilled and experienced educator and outdoorsman, Skip has been hiking and backpacking the backcountry for more than 30 years. He was certified in Wilderness First Aid by the Wilderness Medicine Institute. Skip is also a software engineer, and Principal at Root Action Consulting, where he provides facilitation, strategic planning, and organizational development support to non-profit and grassroots organizations.
