I have been in the medical field for over 25 years. I started my career as a medical assistant. I have experience as a front office receptionist, coder, biller, and Medicaid fraud investigator. I also have 6 years as a Medical Coding/Billing Instructor. I am currently employed with a large medical corporation as an educator and auditor. I hold a certificate as a Certified Professional Coder, Certified professional Medical Auditor, and Certified Professional Coding Instructor through the American Academy of Professional Coders and an Associates Degree in Health Administration from University of Phoenix. Teaching students to prepare for a career in the medical field is a very rewarding job. I truly enjoy sharing my experience in hopes that it will encourage others to pursue a career in the field of medicine.
