Laura Brown

Laura Brown, PhD, is the author of the Amazon #1 bestseller How to Write Anything: A Complete Guide (W. W. Norton, 2014). Laura has been a writer, writing trainer, coach, and teacher for nearly 30 years and has taught writing to all kinds of people--from corporate executives to high school and college students to creative writers. She taught writing at Columbia University and Iona College, and her corporate clients have included AOL Time Warner, Booz Allen Hamilton, Citigroup, DHL, McKinsey & Company, and the Wharton School of Business, among many others. Laura holds an MA in Drama from the University of London and a PhD in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University.
