This was a GREAT course. I really liked that it was succinct. Actually, I skipped over the 16 hour master class. I wanted to get going quick! :)
Thanks for the great course.

You use actual sites during the presentation. Sometimes the display is small, so it is not so clear. I suggest to pause and show where you go in big font. Then continue

This course answered so many question I had about promoting instructional videos on Udemy and a whole lot more. Brian has laid out a simple but powerful plan to becoming a top seller on Udemy. Search engine optimization, getting your first students and reviews, creating titles, course description and promo video are all covered and much more in an 8-step plan. I have taken a number of courses on becoming an Udemy instructor but this one filled in the missing information. For anyone selling instructional online courses on Udemy or other platforms, I recommend this course.

The course digs into the practical side of selling on Udemy. Unfortunately, the instructor is a bit extreme in his views about what other instructors should and shouldn't do. For example, the advice given on pricing your course is to always have it at $199.99 and only change it when there is a 75% off sale. Another extreme view (in my opinion) is to have the longest courses on a topic. As a student on Udemy, I try to look for quality, not quantity - if the instructor is filling in video after video with content that's not useful and too detailed just to make it the longest course, I would not be happy. And I operate under the same assumption as an instructor - I would much rather provide a 2-hour course with clear and to the point information, rather than a 9-hour course that is all over the place, clearly unprepared, unfocused and ultimately unhelpful.
