Having the training manual alongside the videos is superb and I’m finding it very easy to follow along! the video modules are good but i am bothered by the manual. i took her base hypno class and the manual there is great, organized, pages numbered, no missing context. but the manual for this class isnt great. the pages arent numbered, there are several typos and formatting issues, as well as sections where the text just cuts off mid sentence and youre left to scour through Q & A for the answers for it. I have found that the answers arent consistent either for the same questions, like when I asked about missing text, i was told to "fill in the blank if clients is lacking *confidence* but on another person's answer she says if the client doesnt have a safe space to make one up together. it was just really confusing to me and im a visual learner so the manual being thorough was really important to me. i asked her (to please please) if she could fix the manual but she said she would not correct the formatting, typos, nor missing text. it was just really disapointing bc i feel this class could really be great if the manual were to get fixed. it definutely had a negative effect on my learning and it stressed me out. other than that i like karen's classes. ive learned alot from them and i just bought a third class to get my master hyonotherapist diploma!
