The content of the course is concise and easily understandable and the way the instructor is delivering the lectures is engaging and easy to follow. Extremely useful for people who are just getting into React but can be useful for people with some experience working with react if they want to re-visit the basic concepts of React development.
Course is pretty-old of 2015. But, good basics taught.

I very much appreciate Rob's style in this course. I recognized before taking his course that it was now 5 year old and would require some effort on my part to make the code samples work. I chose to dive in and do just that. His high level overview of just exactly what React JS is and how it works, is great. If you're worried about the code samples not working, I actually went thru them all and made working versions using current practices (as of January 2020) and posted links to where I found the answers, etc. If you're looking for a quick overview, and don't mind doing a little digging in the current documentation, I still think there are plenty of gems in here.
