Not at all. The instructions jump all over the place. There aren't any basic instructions on how to use any of the software and the instructions are filled with jargon. The lesson is completely unscripted.

This is easily the worst course I have ever taken, on any subject matter, IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! It's just four hours of the instructor rambling in his stream of consciousness. I should of turned it off after 20 minutes, and requested a full refund from Udemy, but I didn't cause I figured it HAD to get better. It does NOT! I'm shocked Udemy even offers this course because there's so little value in it. Just comes across as a total cash grab, although I don't know who in their right mind would pay this guy to teach. Yes, I know you are not an instructor, you're a film maker (He mentions this several times ad nauseam), but you could of prepared a little bit. Just turning on a mic and rambling for four hours is a waste of time for everyone. Lastly, he just rips Black Magic most of the time in this course. DUDE, if you hate using Davinci for post production sound, WHY ARE YOU TEACHING A COURSE ON IT?!!! Shame on you Udemy, this course was a complete waste of money and time. I would give it -50 stars if I could. I'm only writing this review to save others from making the same mistake as me. Please avoid!

Most of the runtime of this course is a long tangent into theoretical conditions of recording wild audio in the field or why ADR recording is expensive and a bad idea in the instructor's opinion, rather than an in-depth explanation of the tools. Far too often the instructor states "never use this" or "always do this" without any real explanation for why.

The useful content of this course could be half the runtime it currently stands at and after taking it I am still looking for better in-depth training on the tools rather than opinions on the merits of ADR.

The presenter speaks too fast and is unorganized, confusing the student.
DO NOT BUY OR WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COURSE!

The audio is REALLY hard to hear.
I don't think he applied a compressor nor normalisation to his voice and I'm struggling to hear anything.

I've tried with speakers and headphones. I've checked my Windows sound settings and browser settings. It's just too low.

He also rambles a lot and doesn't get to the point enough. This could be half the time if he explained things properly and clearly.

But I'm still learning. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to this, so I'm at least grateful, especially as I'm trying to edit a Podcast with Davinci Resolve.
