The instructor clearly knows and likes what he's doing here, but the course is very confusing and outdated. It's good for people that are a bit more advanced, but not really suitable for real begginers. I've also seen a lot of update promises, but I think this course has been abandoned or at least he gave up on the idea.

I think you are rushing too much. You are now explaining some stuff you are using, or some behaviours, etc...you just say, we will take this or take that but don't explain what it does or why did you choose it.
Since this is a course from beginner to advanced, I think you should explain a bit more.
