this is not a tech learning but for me it was a great business learning of the Cardano fundamentals and potential business impact. Thank you!

This is just like reading an article about Cardano. not sure which one is more informative. no real study here, no real course

Speaking so slowly = dull. Am speeding it up. Rather than cartoons maybe you could present a visual. Good info, useful. But I double down on the feedback about visuals. Seeing P Diddy does absolutely nothing to help us learn. Create visual displays of the process you describe illustration of the concept you are discussing so we can see and hear

The poor use of a sketchpad left me wondering what it was I was looking at. The content was OK, and did give some insight but the delivery is really poor. I wouldn't waste your money on this.

Comprehensive Cardano Volume 2 is much better than Volume 1. Students can learn about Cardano from just taking this course and skip Volume 1. I suggest that Volume 2 course be updated to reflect latest developments in Cardano.

Nowadays an epoch lasts 5 days, not 20 minutes.

I'm pretty sure during the incentivized test net a block was written every 20 minutes and an Epoch lasted one day.

Now that Shelly is here, a block is written every 20 SECONDS and an epoch lasts 5 days.

Cardano is NOT written in Plutus, it is written in Haskell.

Plutus is a scripting dialect of Haskell, which executes transactions in a smart contract context. Plutus is a subset of Haskell, separate from the core blockchain Haskell. Plutus code is made for executing smart contracts.

Marlowe is a Domain Specific Language (DSL) written in Plutus, or you could say a subset of Plutus which is tailored to the domain of financial contracts. So you would write a financial contract in Marlowe. You COULD write any kind of contract in Plutus if you wanted to. More DSL's to come for different domains of expertise.

I'm not sure if K is still on the roadmap...

I'm pretty sure they're working on compiling to Rust for that write-in-any-language-deploy-to-Cardano capability now...

Holding ADA in Daedalus Wallet does NOT make you eligible for producing a block.
Delegating ADA to a stake pool from Daedelus helps make that stake pool more eligible for becoming a slot leader and/or minting a new block.

This course is OUT OF DATE

Charles Hoskinson was a CO-FOUNDER of Etherium btw and is the founder of Cardano.
