There's way too much talking here. I kept skipping ahead and hearing a bunch of analogies instead of the stuff I wanted to learn. Maybe it gets better once you get past all the junk, but I skipped ahead an hour into the "diving in" section and there's still no "diving in."

It's so long winded that I just decided to buy another course instead.

This is not actually a beginner to Javascript but a beginner to web developer. Only the 1/3 of course is dedicated to JS while the 2/3 are very basic, html and css.

Not enough exercises to go along with the information. Mostly straight lecture, without helpful charts, examples, or other graphics.

I wanted to learn and didn't want to hear his rambling. I find Donald Trump vile and offensive/ I don't like paying for a computer course where he is talked about in a positive way.

over all i really enjoy this Kenny teaching style. at times (less then a handful) he can get a bit long winded with his seemingly abstract and obscure analogies but in the end you understand his approach and you understand the material.... this is why we are all here right? to understand, to learn. and this coding is a daunting journey to take for a newbie. i just wish he had more courses. especially higher level courses. if you have no experience in programming i HIGHLY recommend a martin kenny course FIRST.

I am really hanging out for a good, comprehensive course in Javascript that takes a novice to a working mastery of the code. Alas, this course talks a lot about the value of Javascript and offers just enough snippets of solid information to keep me going on. But It doesn't meet my needs. Does Udemy have such a course? Other web instructors offer practical applications using JS, but do not cover the fundamentals so I as a novice in the language, still wrestle with concepts and adaptations of scripts to do what I want with them.

Just make sure. If you have taken this course. And wants a complete newbie( not related to american history for sure ).
Do Dare them to go through all videos. (You will surely win)

If you really want to learn JavaScript. This is not the course you are looking for.
Out of 50 videos. I have not gone through more than 7 videos.
I hope team verifies the course & the people who have reviewed about his course.
Yeah he will speak about the course but the additional logic will make you wonder. Why . I mean Why does he speak illogical arguments.
