Photoshop has been around for a long time. And while it is constantly innovating and making our lives easier, Adobe very rarely takes out the parts that don't work anymore. It's understandable. Many designers don't want to relearn the program every year. So Photoshop has become kind of like a hoarder. Full of a lot of junk that it just can't bring itself to throw away.
Another important thing to understand. Most online classes want to be thorough. They think they have to each you every single tool and effect and walk through step by boring step explaining how to use tools that nobody uses anymore.

Short modules in bite sized steps is good for learning. The pace is great! Moving quickly keeps things interesting by illustrating how images can be dramatically transformed in a few steps. Knowing he will go back and show details helps build confidence....

I'm enjoying the course but the instructor is going a little fast for me and also saying "you know" too much, because I don't know. Plus, it would be much more clear and useful to me if the instructor would make it clear from the beginning why we are doing this particular exercise. i.e. where will we ultimately use this. Click on the various icons slower. By the time I've found the cursor, you've clicked on it and gone. I know, I can replay the lesson, and I do so. Overall, a good job.

Very useful class, I did not fall asleep watching this + I have made lots of bookmarks. It is screened in 1080p so it did not give me eyestain either like some of the other visual design classes (shot in 720p!) here on Udemy.
