So far i am very much enjoying how you are quick and accurate making me have to double check previous videos and such to make sure i'm getting things right also love how you called out people who just follow along and don't try to figure out the reason why it works. The first section was very nice look forward to the second have of this. I am kinda sad that the world of knockback and tile collisions is not meant to be. But i think its great to see both options i have not yet experinced all of this and have just finished up the Bat lesson 38 and i'm getting allot of fun ideas through this thank you very much.

The videos are dis jointed, the code doesn't work and the teacher starts off by telling students to read the GMS manual, rather than helping them set up a new project. The teacher is also MIA in the question and answer section of the course.

It is currently very helpful with helping me learn the basics of GML, I can see most of what I learnt here being applied in future.

Because I have a little bit of experience using game maker studio 2 I understand what he is talking about, but if I was ignorant on the language used I wouldn't really be able to understand what he means by when something is doing "This". I know this course says in the beginning to read the game maker guide but the people who don't read the guide will be confused about what is being presented. All I'm saying is don't use such broad discriptions explain in more detail please other than that it is alot better than some of the other gamemaker udemy courses.
This course is not fit for beginners probibly would not recommend.

Switching between tile collisions and object collisions confused things a bit...

I managed to complete the tutorial thanks! When it was mentioned that we were going back to tile collisions I stayed with it, so i had to go back and add the object collisions to complete.
