About This Course

Meshing Method, Global Mesh Control, Local Mesh Control,Core Skill, Mesh Quality

This Ansys Meshing course is aimed to those who want to learn how to create high quality mesh. Each chapter has specific workshop model,showing how to use the tools(step by step), for doing more practice.

Following topics will is to be covered in this course;

Chapter 1= Student will learn how to launching mesh, using mesh method,creating named selection,Inflation,on overview of the interface,section planes, Mesh Metric and doing more practice with Workshop model section.

Chapter 2=  Learn difference between the Main Meshing method such as Tetrahedral(Patch Conforming and Patch Independent) and Hex Meshing(Sweept, Multizone ,Hex dominant) and learn how to recording the meshing and doing more practice with Workshop model section.

Chapter 3=  Specifically focus Global Meshing,using to make global adjustment in the meshing strategy  such as Adaptive, Curvature, Proximity, Inflation, Quality, Statistic,used for mesh sizing and doing more practice with Workshop model section.

Chapter 4= Student will learn how to use the local control meshing method such as Method for body(Automatic,Tetrahedrons,Hex Dominant, Sweep), for sizing (Edge,face) with different type(Element sizing,Sphere of Influence,body of Influence and Factor of Global Size), Inflation, Pinch,Face Meshing, and Node Move and doing more practice with Workshop model section.

Chapter 5= Student will learn how to check the mesh quality,quality criteria, method for checking Mesh quality and tools to improve Quality in the Meshing and doing more practice with Workshop model section.

It will helps you to build efficient meshes before set - up effective solver configurations for a wide range of problems..

  • Students will learn differences between meshing Global and Local method

  • Learn how to use meshing tools to create mesh

  • Student will learn how to improve meshing quality

It's very difficult to understand the lecturer, since he is using a bad English. I think this impedes him from explaining better all the concepts that he wants to present.
