I think an early emphasis on the pronunciation and tones in a slowed down and clearly voiced manner is really helpful and sets this course apart from other language apps and courses.

Confusing. Not enough time given for me to repeat. Want explanation of mouth shape and tongue placement
So far, so good! I live with a Vietnamese person, and they confirmed that this curriculum hits on a specifically southern dialect. For many people it may be better to start without a dialect. Traditional Vietnamese has more differentiated sounds which makes initial learning slightly easier.
There is a test for review but they do not provide the answers.
Just focus on the southern pronunciation not both.
Very good quality course and does a great job on how to pronounce words/tones correctly
It's really hard to find resources in Southern Vietnamese - this course was great! :)
So far I'm really appreciating the slow, deliberate instruction and clear enunciation of very difficult sounds for a native English speaker.
