Coloured pencil lesson on drawing a beautiful Kingfisher using actual live lesson from my art school
In this course you will follow along with my students and create a wonderful drawing of a Kingfisher using coloured pencils. There will be shorter demonstration clips from other lessons such as an owl, a ballerina, and a statue. Also a downloadable PDF file of materials you need and suppliers along with a photograph of the Kingfisher you are about to draw.
If you imagine you are attending one of my full day classes, then at the end of the day you will have painted or drawn a beautiful picture and learned top tips for creating a saleable artwork. Many students in my classes have won art competitions in county shows, in fact three of them took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd awards in one show.

A full list of each coloured pencil used by shade number and manufacturer would be useful for an absolute beginner. I can recommend this course.

I am an absolute beginner to pencil drawing and what I liked about this course was I got straight in to drawing a picture. The course tells you the coloured pencils you will need and the paper. I also had to get a decent pencil sharpener and an artist eraser. Following the course you quickly start seeing your kingfisher taking shape and try different techniques. The instructor is very responsive to emails and can help if, like me, you are unsure of some of the techniques. You also get feedback on your drawing to help you improve.
