How to craft Pixel Art Tile Sets
In this course you will learn from Parker Pierce, a free lance animator and pixel artist. You will learn to build pixel tilesets for level design in game development. You will learn to build your grid, sketch your tiles, and then make several different sizes and types of tiles that work and flow together. There is also a section on observation where you will be looking at tilesets from successful video games that use pixel art to see what can be learned from them and how you can apply it.

I expected the course to discuss more objectively the creation of an actual tile set for a complete scenario and it just gives an overview about tiles in general.
Being a total beginner in pixel art this course was very beneficial. I now have some idea of where to start and what I should be doing in order to begin my pixel art journey. Thank you for all the information, it was very helpful and interesting.

A great primer on creating pixel tiles - as a beginner this was essential viewing!
Most of this felt like review for me, but to be fair, this is labelled as a beginner level course and it's designed for people who are newer to pixel art and making tile sets.
There is still a lot of solid information, examples and advice in this course and I think that it's a good start for someone interested in learning more about how to make pixel art.
This is a great class for someone just getting into the hobby of pixel art.
Great Class I highly recommend this course to anyone. I learn a great amount of information about tile sets and opened my eyes to new ideas that I could do in my future as an artist. Just an amazing class, cant stress how great the class was, two thumbs up!
Very well done course, as an aspiring game designer i struggle with doing it all on my own and in a timely manner. Using tilesets will be a great time saver!

Muito interessante o processo de criação do instrutor. Achei que alguns pontos ficaram muito vagos e a posição da janela do video dele obstruiu a visualização da mudança de parametros das ferramentas, talvez o ideal fosse a janela ficar à direita da tela deixando a caixa de parametros plenamente visivel. NO geral, acho um bom ponto de partida para iniciantes na criação de pixelart para games.
