The Skin structure for beautician beginners is a course dedicated for people who are interested in working in the beauty industry. The course includes subjects such as:

  • Skin as an organ.

  • Epidermis and its layers.

  • Cells of epidermis.

  • Epidermal appendages.

  • Dermis and subcutaneous tissue.

  • Skin complexions.

This course will help you gain a basic knowledge of the skin anatomy and its function and have an understanding of the skin as an organ. By the end of this course, students will be able to name all layers of the skin including division of epidermal layers, cells, appendages and understand their role. The course presents the description of the deepest layers of the skin which are dermis and subcutaneous tissue. Moreover, the skin structure for beautician beginners course includes a lesson which is focused on the differentiation of different skin complexions. Thanks to this lesson students will gain the necessary knowledge about skin complexion features as well as the basic but essential information about skincare for each complexion.

The whole course is a perfect first step to the world of beauty. It is dedicated for future beauticians, make-up artists and skin advisors. This course will help students understand the skin functioning and be able to perform the right facial treatment for each skin complexion.

Pros: The presentation is clear with teaching material aids. It delivers a basic understanding of skin anatomy in a very friendly and understanding way.
Cons: Only the last part (summary) is too long. But it's absolutely not a problem. Thank you! Highly recommended to those in the skincare and beauty industry.
