What It Is, How We Got It, And Is It The Real Thing?
This course looks at the Bible, what it is, how we got it, and can we trust that it is the real thing. First we explore some facts about the Bible that make it unique. Then we examine its structure and overall theme. From there, how the Bible has come to us, and finally, why we can trust that the Bible is reliable.
You will learn how the Bible has been passed down through the centuries and why the documents can be trusted.
By the end of the course you will have a greater appreciation of the Bible and why it is unique.

EASY AND CLEAR TO UNDERSTAND.
I enjoyed the course and found the information interesting and helpful. My only suggestion would be for Mr. Metz to put his lecture into a printable format. I prefer to review the course information way from my computer and find taking notes difficult with arthritic hands. Also, the stopping and starting of the lectures to take notes detracts from the material and the message. Otherwise, a great course.
I really enjoyed this course. I have also taken the course The Bible-An Introduction to the New Testament - another course written by Scott Metz. I would recommend these courses to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Bible. The courses are very interesting, educational, and enjoyable.
