Sometimes, the instructor is surprised when a menu item exists; he recommends Googling it for yourself. Other times, he may say that for a selectable option, you don't have to worry about it and simply skip explaining what it's used for.
He doesn't know the names of the cursor buttons; he simply draws < > signs on the canvas to explain how to navigate between frames.
After all, I did learn something about Aseprite, but considering the price, I was expecting more precise work.

A great way to know what you need to know about Aseprite, it is not a long course as well so it is well worth doing!
I will now be making sprites and such for my personal 80's themed game projects! :-)
Every detail so far
This course gives you everything you need "before starting to learn pixel art". I think, Aseprite is the most comprehensive program to work with when it comes to pixel art. So if you want to learn the tools and want to have a solid understanding about Aseprite, this course definitely must have!
My daughter and I are making a video game and she is using this course to learn to make pixel art. It keeps her attention and the instructor is well spoken, knowledgeable and goes at a great pace.
The teacher is very objective and clear with its explanation about the aplication, witch make the class very easy to understand

This class was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I'd taken other Aesprite classes, but they were basically just watching someone create pictures with Aesprite and using various tools. This video goes over EVERY single menu and choice. I had a rudementary working knowledge of the program, but I am so glad to have found this to explain things like the onion skin and linked animation frames. I would totally recommend this class to any level Aesprite user. If I had to make a complaint, it would be in a couple of places where he is going over something and says to just Google for more information. I wish he'd have gone through examples there. But that was only once or twice in the whole series, so overall the course was exceptional. I'd also like a more lively presentation, but that is just a preference and perhaps not something that can be fixed. Easiest 5 star rating I've ever given!

It was great to get an understanding of the tools and menus in Aseprite. It was great to see how each aspect of the software can be used in a project and ways to save time with hotkeys and special configurations. I learned that Asesprite is extremely capable and underrated and has many features that can match or rival more expensive art packages.
