I spent most of my life running from one place to the next on a full and exhausting schedule.

Then, being the tough nut that I was, I would get back up and do it all again. Just stupid!

I had massages, got plenty of exercise, was recommended this pill and that pill from well intentioned health professionals. It might help for a short while but never got to the crux of the matter.

I was afraid to admit I was falling apart in case I didn’t look tough enough. No one wants to hear you’re not coping. If you show any signs of weakness people step away like you have the plague. Or they give you less opportunities and side line your efforts.

So I felt very isolated and lonely in trying to solve Stress while struggling to build my career. The two seemed to beat against each other making life hard all the time.

The day came when I ended up so sick I was told I had to do something fast or I could expect some sort heart failure before my mid-forties.

That’s when I decided to do a complete overhaul of my life.

I wanted to analyze how I’d lived up till that point in all areas of life and how I wanted to live differently from here on.

That’s when I really started looking more deeply at stress as something I no longer had to live with. This was something I could manage a whole lot differently than I was before.

Unprofessional (the whole "zany" persona thing doesn't really work for me - sorry) and full of plugs for other people's stuff. The presenter doesn't seem to really know the topic well enough to present a course on it and actually there's very little practical information about actual stress management. More about a whole lot of other "self-help" type stuff that and tangential stuff which isn't very helpful at all.

I went through the whole thing hoping to learn something I could use...even something new but it was just a waste of time.

If you're really stressed and are looking for ways to manage your stress I doubt you'll find much here that'll help you.

Many times courses are just another repetition, so I was enthralled that Annabelle's approach covered a much wider spectrum than I expected.
