I'm really learning a lot, would have loved to have a training area to actually be able to practice though.

I do not reccomend to buy this course. You just go through steps doing something and you really don't understand what you are doing. There is no explanation how it connects with "big picture" of whole BI idea. Plus it's out of date so I encountered errors which were not described in videos and I couldn't resolve them and continue past the 1st half of it.

I don't get it why this course has such a low note.
It is quite good - the guy clearly knows what he's doing, the knowledge is condensed to the most important, practical usage, perfect for beginners.

I liked that while processing the data a lot of errors happened and the lecturer showed how to fix them, as this is a bread and butter of working with data.

Overall 4,5 / 5.
I would give 5 if the lecturer was reading the theoretical part instead of improvising on the fly and if the quizzes were more robust.

Good beginner class. He goes a bit fast and skips over a few details. However, if you know sql esp. the management studio, you'll be able to figure it out.
Overall, a good introduction.

Pretty good beginner course. It teaches you how to build the CUBE and I am sure there are lot of things to learn along the way to become a very knowledgeable of SSAS. This course would have been better if the instructor teaches how to build the SSIS solution for the ETL process instead of just populating the tables with the data. As a result, we the students would have a knowledge about the entire process of development of building a Data warehouse.
