Good basic course. More examples of 5ths and 7ths on the staff and more discussion on key signatures would have been helpful.

This is easy to understand and complimentary to Karen's Blues course.
I love the part of the bass and treble staff being mirror images of the key notes. I'm surprised that no one ever pointed that out before. Thanks...

Piano is not standard tuned (A ≠ 440Hz) - C sounds like D, which is a horrible idea, especially for course like this.
Minus half a star for the dirt under her fingernails.

Why does music reading seem to be so difficult? Actually it's not. In her simple, straight-forward approach, Karen Gibson shows you step by step how to read piano music quickly and effortlessly without the need to memorize the location of every note on the staff. Karen's gentle teaching style makes concepts easy to grasp. With this course, she will have you reading notes anywhere on the staff, including all those pesky upper and lower ledger line notes. And by understanding key concepts rather than relying on rote memory, what you learn today will stay with you tomorrow. I highly recommend this course!
