Students will learn how this language can enhance a web page, allowing additional interactivity and more precise control of page elements. Students will also learn how JavaScript can be used to validate web forms and how to script for the DOM in an effort to manipulate web page elements. More advanced techniques used in creating a website and making the content more dynamic will also be taught as well as how to use JavaScript in a variety of ways from building simple games to simple financial applications.

This course is great! The content is presented clearly and is easy to understand. I learned a lot and as I beginner, I found it to be the perfect introduction to JavaScript.
Thus far, we've spent a lot of time -73 minutes of videos - listening to an instructor talk and not a lot of time learning JavaScript . I found it quite annoying to have an instructor read me a slide that details all the various versions of JavaScript and when they came out. The pace is SLOW largely because of these unnecessary forays into minutiae.
I have practiced a few examples from this course, it helps me to absorb the fundamental knowledge of JavaScript, recommend to beginners.
