Taught by photographer/visual arts teacher Scott Wittenburg, Photoshop 101 is a course specifically designed for those students with little or no experience in Adobe Photoshop who wish to become proficient in the program in a relatively short time. Beginning with simple, easy to follow video tutorials and supplied images, students immediately find themselves engaged in the course, creating composite images while becoming familiar with the tools. Through continued practice and usage, students eventually move on to creating their own original artworks by utilizing their new skills with their own images. By the end of the course, students will be able to tackle the following digital imaging situations with confidence, efficiency, and creativity.

I am a licensed high school photography teacher, writer and host of Photography 101, a popular podcast on iTunes. I have been a photographer for over thirty-five years and received my B.A. in Visual Arts at Ohio Dominican University and my M.F.A. in Photography and Digital Imaging at Antioch University.
Lecturer speaks to fast. It´s hard to follow up and I need to keep pausing and rewinding to repeat the commands in Photoshop. His pocasts and courses are great. Great teacher. I´m just suggesting that for steps where the student needs to repeat in the SW, he goes at a slower pace.
I enjoyed this course. I was able to do all of the exercises well and learned a lot.
This course actually covers a lot of basics of Photoshop. I took the course knowing very little in PS and finished able to do some neat composite images and blending. Well done!
