There was so much context provided that I would not have otherwise known, and this enhanced my understanding of the scriptures and led me to think deeper- and differently- about topics I would not have otherwise considered.

This course had great content for its length, certain areas needed more in depth details but all in all it was worth taking. only real issue is with the Udemy platform and their inability to address constant video issues & freezes in this course and every other course taken.

Prof Wright gave so many new insights especially the cultural context of the letter when it was written. These are valuable insights which are eye-opening and mind-transforming with the help of the Holy Spirit as I learn through the courses in the Book of Philippians

I love the Letter to the Philippians. I love the joy, the encouragement, the “co-labor” between the church and Paul. This opened up my eyes to ways that can be put into action, and it gave me great hope.

This course laid a great foundation for showing how to engage Paul's letters in context. The discussion questions gave a solid base from which to have inspiring and educational conversation in a group. Prof. Wright conveys information very fluidly and professionally. His teaching is trustworthy.

It is almost too dense for the fellowship group I am with. Great material but could have more real-world application over Biblical knowledge.

I was , I thought, quite familiar with Philippians, but received a much fuller understanding of it through this study. It has also challenged me with the realization that I need to spend much more time and energy, delving even deeper in its study, and in application to my life.
