As a programmer I'm pretty far from being a legit artist yet I've used this software to create content for various video games I created.

I've been using paint.net for some time and always learned features only as I needed them. Sometimes there would have been much easier ways of doing things if I had just taken a video course like this. I have used pretty much most of the features of paint.net by now, but again I might not look at more than I needed to know for what I needed to get done. And, so going through almost everything comprehensively in this course has revealed new things to me that I would use in the future. One last comment: the volume of all the videos needs to be increased greatly. Even though I have an external speaker with amplifier I could not raise the volume enough to hear well. I resorted to using a volume adjuster extension on the browser to increase the video sound by 550%.
I looking to create marketing material for Constant Contact and pamphlets. So I am looking to understand more about the layers with multiple images.
I had quite some experience with paint.net before the course, self taught. Did learn a good amount of stuff that I can use in the future though. money worth spent
This course was incredibly useful to me. I had been struggling with image editing using paint.net, and did not want to use Photoshop which has tons of classes. I learned so many useful methods and tricks with paint.net. This course is probably the first one I've ever taken (out of many!) that I plan to go back through again. There were so many things to learn that I didn't catch them all the first time through. Thank you for this course!

This was a fantastic course for learning the basics and a few more complex features of Paint.Net.
I would recommend it to anyone looking to learn how to use this software as an alternative to paid alternatives out there.

This is a useful course for beginners. The instructor explains how to use every tool in the program. However, there are not enough practical tutorials on how to use these tools. This course would also benefit by covering some of the optional addons that Paint.NET supports but are not part of the program. The volume in this course is too low.
