Pro's
The content is build up in a structured way from the ground up. He obviously did some research in the documentation to get it all completed. All seems to be covered and all SQL statements shown are included for download and experiment with. Also lots of quality questions in between the lectures makes it worth while. This really helps to solidify the covered items.

Con's
The video course is very difficult to follow because of the heavy accent and mumbling and staggering way of speech including the poor sound quality. At times it even sounds like a robot. I really wonder why he made this video in English because he seems to be unable to master the English language in speech as well as in writing. The whole charade is so distracting that you would need all your focus and attention on what he was supposed to be saying that the message itself is hardly noticed anymore. Switching to the Subtitles does it make it any better since they are even worse.
It is very clear that the whole thing is read from paper or screen without any clear emphasis on the meaningful issues.

Good match because it explains the SQL basics as they relate to relational database concepts

De geluidsopname is van matige kwaliteit, wat het zware accent van de docent niet ten goede komt. Daarnaast is de ondertiteling waardeloos.

For the most part I am pleased with the course. The teacher clearly knows his material and is well organized. The section on the many functions seemed a bit rushed, I would have liked to see more or better examples using these functions. I am looking forward to taking the second part.
