John Mark is a FileMaker master second to none. Even though I have been using FileMaker off and on for years, I still like to follow at least parts of his new courses to update my knowledge. And I learn something new every time. His strength is that--unlike many instructors--he realizes that he needs to change the "flow" of how he does things--slow down--to his students can follow along.

For me the being able to download and keep the course files here is worth the price of the course. I highly recommend this and his other courses here on Udemy.

With this course, John Mark Osborne explains and demonstrates an impressive collection of tips and techniques, some of which I've not seen mentioned anywhere else. I recently completed his 4-part Philosophy of FileMaker series, which covers a huge number of features, and I was happy to discover that there's no repetition here in Master Tips & Tricks.
I've seen other videos, where it seemed as if the instructor was reading from a pre-written script, but with John Mark, you'll feel as though he's simply talking to you. He has a style that manages to give you all the instruction you need, without the "Go to the File menu, click Manage, and choose Database..." type of thing that will make any relatively intelligent student say "I know! - Just get on with it!".
If you're comfortable with the basics of FMP, don't pass this course up!
