About the Coach: With over three decades of experience in playing and coaching football, Ron Roberts brings a wealth of expertise to the field. During his time as a linebacker at the College of Sequoias in Visalia, California, he earned the distinction of being a two-time All-Conference selection. Roberts has a coaching background that spans high school and various colleges, including Greensboro College, Tusculum College, Texas State, and Delta State University. On December 19, 2011, he assumed the role of head coach at Southeastern Louisiana University. In December 2022, Roberts took on the position of Defensive Coordinator at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. His extensive coaching career includes 11 years as a collegiate head coach at Delta State and Southeastern Louisiana, with his most recent role being the defensive coordinator at Baylor for the past three seasons.
