I have revised my initial rating from 2 to 3.5. Early on I gave the course a rating of 2 because the instructor recommended Komodo as the editor but did not show us how to set it up. Also, at no point has the professor asked us to code along with him so the kinesthetic aspect of learning is missed. However, I have used VScode and his pre-written programs do work. The demands of this course can be met by simply watching the instructor. Though I do not believe I will be able to claim I have learned JS, I will at least be able to say I have at exposure to it and notch a quick certificate.

Good course, the only improvement i would suggest is to check some audios that cut by the end of some explanations. But overall, great!

This course is eloquently and concisely delivered and yet it's giving me more comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience than any other JS courses.

The only thing I would only like to request more from the instructor would be more advanced courses of JS where applications of JS are demonstrated for various platforms.

This compact JavaScript course was more than enough to prepare me to continue with a massive Udemy web design course. Well presented, as always, by one of the instructional stars of the Udemy universe. Respects the difficulty in transitioning from a strongly-type language. Top Marks!

This is an excellent primer for anybody just getting started with JavaScript. I especially liked the straightforward explanations of classless Objects and Associative Arrays. The later sections on HTML5, jQuery, and editors are a bit long in the tooth in 2020, but that's not a big deal since it's largely outside the scope of the course. It might be nice to add a section on one of the newer JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular at some point.
