This was a good, quick refresher into what is now an old version of Symfony. It does not go into a lot of detail. It does provide a quick, brief overview, touching on many of the important concepts. It will not make anybody an expert, but it provides a good starting point for somebody who knows nothing. It doesn't explain what MVC frameworks are, so it will be helpful if you have worked with another one before.
The course is easy to follow and understand for a Symfony beginner.

I encountered a few problems, mainly when running composer and installing dependancies. I guess that's what you'll get running the latest version of PHP (7.2) with an old version of Symfony.
On the whole I enjoyed the course and was able to complete the practical and it gave me the refresher I needed.
Some features not work on my enviroment
It's a good introductory course about the core concepts of Symfony. It also gives some real-life examples through code. The coverage is already quite vast given the relatively shorter duration of the course (perfect if you're busy and wanted to learn in the shortest time possible).
