I've already been teaching SCRATCH to my grade 3 & 4 students, but knew there were a few concepts I was a bit shaky on. This course provided the enlightenment I needed; I recommend it for anyone teaching SCRATCH!

Programming a computer might seem impossible to learn by many parents but at the same time many realises that for our children it will be an essential skill like reading and writing was/is for older generations. Fortunately their is a solution to the problem and her name is Evelyn. With the help of a free program called Scratch you will be guided by Evelyn in the fascinating world of programming without really writing any code as Scratch uses predefined modules, think Lego blocks, that you put together. You will be amazed when learning how to program two dogs having an intelligent conversation. This is a great way to be introduced to programming and its possibilities. Who knows, maybe you will see the beginning of a new career.
