It is a decent course, however it is out dated. It gives you a general idea on how to do stuff, but for example the way you precision edit has changed. So some of the fine details are no longer relevant. Also the general layout is different now. Its worth having your ipad with you and play along so to speak.
I was a little put off initially by my ipad air not matching with the imovie version used in the training; but I had to change my mind as I went through the course.
My opinions rapidly changed when I found the trainer well versed in his subject. His pace and method of teaching was excellent. I found that I had picked up so much information in such a short time.
I loved the way he structured the course and feel confident to be creative with the endless possibilities imovie has to offer.
Well worth watching and just the right length without being boring.
This is one of the best step by step video training I've taken in quite some time. The instructions are clear and simple to follow. Your learning curve on iMovie gets reduced dramatically. After the training it's just a matter of practicing what you learned. Great job putting this material together.

I enjoyed the course it was very helpful and information, but on the downside it was very dated and didn’t reflect the advancements/changes to iMovie over the decade or so. I just had to take onboard what iMovie could do then adapt and work out how to do it on a 2023 version
