This course opened my eyes to things I previously thought were inconsequential, such as mastering and EQ. It also made it somewhat easier to figure out what the hundreds of different effects and filters do

Liad moves at a fairly rapid pace and thus packs a lot of info into his lessons. This is a course that will benefit you by repeated viewings. Very useful and enjoyable.

I'm a firm believer that anything taught is only as valuable and informative as the teacher. This course got straight to the point and taught me everything I needed to get started with Live 9 and then some. I've spent hours on Utube tutorials and videos in various electronic music magazines. None of them were as easy to follow as this course. None of them gave me the tools and the confidence to get started straight away like this course has.
This course is pretty much made for me but I'd recommend it to anyone.

Being an intermediate user, I wasn't sure whether to bother but with discount, I decided I would. I actually learnt a few things I didn't know. But I'm glad I didn't spend $60 on it as the content isn't particularly in depth

I personally had almost no prior Ableton knowledge when I enrolled in this course. I did enjoy it and thought it was helpful, but not worth $60. I had a discount code so I didn't pay full price, but I don't think there is enough content, and I don't think he's a good enough instructor, to merit spending $60 on this course. Its a great course and I learned a decent amount, but most of the videos are under 10 minutes, how much can he really teach you about making a good kick sound in a 5:11 video?

I received this course for free, but If you are considering purchasing it, please check to see if it has received any updates since this review was posted.

Usually when you sign up for a class, it's not only because of the content, but also so you can absorb the professors individual experiences. Unfortunately this course has poor content along with an instructor who has little technical merit.

The quality of the videos range from unprepared rough drafts to stale commentary clearly being read out loud for the first time. This would have been excusable if the course had a direction and proper instructions, but instead this is a course that is poorly organized, full of generalizations, and extremely vague.

I suggest Liad practices making free videos for Youtube until he improves his teaching. It's embarrassing seeing him charge $59 for each licence.
