It was more basic than I was expecting! Finding it hard the videos very dry
Sorry the instructor was not very - just accent was very strong which prohibits clear listening to the course . And instructor name Anniston Bradley - obvious not real name as cant look up his GIS credentials as an instructor .
A squeaky chair, sniffing, background noises, and a very thick accent only distract form a reading of bullet points on a public website. I tried using the closed captions, and they were so poorly transcribed it only led to more confusion. There is no real explanation, just reading what is on the esri ARCGIS site. I was hoping to learn more about how things work and why I need to make selections. The corse preview is nothing like the presentation of the actual course and the narrator is not the same used in the preview.
I feel like all I had to do is go to the ArcGIS Online webpage to learn what I have learned from this course so far.

This is a good online course.
I consume maps at work. The customers provide an ESRI shape file that must be converted KML. The Company is thinking about purchasing an ESRI account. I need to know if ESRI Online provide the output in the format my company uses. I need KML maps. ERSI Online cannot provide KML maps. We need the higher level ESRI license, maybe the desktop license.
There are no real examples to use during this course, so I would recommend having some of your own data ready to go. He used the earthquake data which is freely available online, so you might want to download this. There are a few ESRI tutorials that will get you up and running quickly with some great intros and I would recommend spending your money on these. Also mentioned about some follow on courses, but I must not be searching correctly as I see nothing on Udemy about these?? I believe the instructor knows the material well, but the course should be labeled as an intro course to get you started, IMHO.
