Friendly, helpful info. A little hard to understand at the beginning because the format of Udemy has changed, but still managed to follow it for now.

This is working out well. Jana's a very clear instructor, injects a little unexpected humor here and there, and is even somewhat reassuring that this is not unlearnable material. So far, so good!

Jana did a great job introducing topics for JavaScript as well as providing though provoking exercises for the student to work through. I am completely new to JS and learned a lot from this course! A recommendation for improvement: be sure to provide a video that goes over setup of environment for writing code in detail. This will help prep people to use an environment outside of the browser Web Console. I would also love to see more exercises with object oriented programming.

the exercises and examples "tell" rather than "teach". Huge difference. This course started out on a simple, metered path and around the time objects and methods are discussed, you're expecting us to know things we don't. Not much teaching at this point, but lots of saying things. Anyone can say something. TEACHING it to someone is the hard part...especially online.
