In this intro course to communication skills you'll learn the very basics to communication.
Why do you need to return to the basics of communication? It is the simple communication skills that we all need to use and develop over time that either 'makes the relationships or breaks it'.
In other words if you do not communicate your message clearly, you can and will be completely misunderstood. If you don't listen to the other person whether it's a partner, a colleague, a boss or a stranger, you can hurt someone without truly understanding what happened.
This course may appear to be simple and it is, but don't let that fool you. While communicating with others may seem easy to do, you can easily misunderstand messages that you've received, or be completely misunderstood. Could it be the words you chose, the medium you used, your tone, or your non-verbals that affected the communication?Â

I found this course helpful because of lots of the content and quite easy way of teaching. One more thing I appreciated was the great questions that had encouraged me to think deeper about the issues we were studying during lessons and reflect about my habits, my mindset etc. That is why I give 5 stars.
As I have finished the whole course I would like to just let the author a constructive feedback. In my opinion the improvements could be mainly regarding technical issues, like:
- Balancing the volume over the different lessons, sometimes the audio quality wasn't best.
- Having a common slide layouts and video backgrounds for the whole course could be better. The layout at the end was quite good in my opinion.
- I would find it more useful to have slightly modified structure. Some lessons were quite long and could be divided into smaller ones.
Despite these few things that have 2nd priority I find the course really great. I made lots of notes and I am going to practice it. But I already heard from my relatives that my communication is noticeable better. Thanks a lot Linda! I would recommend this course!

For those who are looking to take this course my advice is take it. It is a great course and an easy one. It's very helpful to improve our communication skills and you should take it. It's gonna come handy in future
listening skills are very important in communicating properly
I'm halfway through right now, but I must mention that the changes in volume is a bit frustrating. Sometimes it's too difficult to hear, other times it's too loud to the moment of being surprised. As someone who is sensitive to sound, this makes the course more difficult than it should be. Otherwise, the content is great thus far.

It was good, but due to me being a student, it is not very beneficial for me yet. But it will help me for the future, and it would be very helpful if I was an adult.
