About This Course

A step-by-step guide to getting the most from your daily schedule. Boost productivity with your calendar!

You can probably count on one hand the number of times you’ve had a deeply productive day. Whether it’s endless meetings, unending emails, or clients requesting "quick chats," your productivity likely gets derailed multiple times a day.

That's where time blocking comes into play. Time blocking is the practice of planning out every moment of your day in advance and dedicating specific time “blocks” for certain tasks and responsibilities.

In this course, you'll learn how and why your calendar is the best way to tackle your daily to-do’s and achieve peak productivity. We’ll also discuss why things like traditional to-do lists and apps often fail.

"Calendars fit time management like a glove. You only need to choose the right size."

2021 update: Now includes calendar apps for time management.

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR:

  • Busy parents

  • Freelancers who juggle multiple clients

  • Employees who struggle to get their work done each day

  • Anyone who's tired of saying "If only I had more time."

BY THE END OF THIS COURSE:

Your calendar will look like a glorious rainbow of productivity, but you deserve it! You deserve to actually get stuff done and tackle the projects that keep getting put on the back-burner, just like you deserve to fully disconnect and be guilt-free and present when you're hanging out with friends or family (or just watching Netflix as you soak in a glorious bubble bath).

So schedule some time (hint hint) to take this Udemy course and start tackling your to-do's like an efficiency machine!

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

I'm Erin, I've been a busy freelancer and business owner since 2012. At one point in my career, I was balancing 18 full-time clients who all equally demanded a lot of my attention. I was able to successfully balance everyone (and still find time for myself and my mental sanity) through time-blocking. Deep pockets of thinking transformed business, and I was shocked that the only tool I needed in order to achieve peak-productivity was my calendar. I hope you join me in this fast, simple, but powerful course to time blocking!

  • This course will help you become a mono-tasking efficiency machine, capable of tackling all your to-do's!

I just love the way Erin teaches. I've purchased many of her courses, and she is the one instructor I enjoy listening to. The way she speaks keeps me engaged, and she is clearly speaking from experience.

The course got right to the point. I am already using the techniques she taught in this course, and I like it so much better than using "task management" apps.

I am able to create realistic daily goals, and whatever I know I can't complete that day, if it's really important, I move it to the next day. This is such a better way to keep myself organized.

Also, if you are like me and work or will be working in corporate America, having a calendar (under your [personal] email account) to track your daily work is a great way to keep track of your activity at work, and also any major accomplishments you may have had with the company. This way when it comes time for an employee review or to ask for that raise... you have a detailed history of your work and impact on the company. In other words, this can help you manage your time with your business, and if you are also working a day job, this is a great way to track your productivity/impact.

Highly recommend this course.

Erin Booth is amazing! Erin did not waste any time with the typical introductions. Instead she dived right into the material and began teaching from the very start. First she teaches you what not to do and why. And then she teaches you what you want to do and how it works. Along the way many important parts of the system are explained. So, far this is THE COURSE that I would recommend for the nuts and bolts of a good Time/Task Management System. It is clear, concise, and easy to implement -- inherently practical. And at least one major reason it works so well is the radical changes in the last 40 years or so that are possible due to digital calendars. Please understand To-Do Lists were a pretty good system in the past (provided we tried to focus on ten or less tasks) because we were limited by the space available on our paper calendars or in our paper planners. Digital Calendars Change All That! They force us to see the Tasks and Projects we are working on in the Context of Real Time. And we are automatically confined to only planning for that which is reasonably do-able. She gives workable strategies for how to plan for contingencies and how to make sure that the truly important things get done. Hurray for Erin Booth and Her Calendar/Task Management Course.

Erin's calendar course had valuable tips I needed to focus better. I'm retired, but I teach English as a Second Language online, which keeps me active and away from vegging at the TV. I'm not going to do several things Erin suggested, but am adapting it to where I feel comfortable. Probably the most valuable thing I got from this course is to stop multi-tasking!
