The course begins with a basic introduction to Docker, and explore our first Hello world! example. You then move on to Docker installation and more Hello world! examples on various platforms, and explore the Docker architecture and its major components such as the Docker Registry, Docker containers, and so on. Moving ahead, you will delve deeply into understanding Docker containers — one of the most important features in Docker. We also look at container and data management, customizing Docker images using Dockerfile, uploading images to the registry, and Dockerfile best practices. Along with learning Docker, you will also learn how Docker simplifies DevOps automation.
By the end of this course, you will successfully deploy applications in a Docker container.
About the Author
Sreeprakash (or Sree) Neelakantan is a Cloud and DevOps enthusiast based in India. He has worked as the Information Technology Manager at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and is also the Winner of the Top Quality Performance Award from KLM for cost reduction and Process Enhancement.
He is the founder and the Chief Cloud Architect at Schogini Systems Pvt. Ltd. Sree holds multiple Amazon AWS certifications including DevOps Engineer Professional. Apart from his Electrical Engineering Degree (with honors) from the prestigious College of Engineering, Trivandrum, he also has studied Advanced Programming Techniques from TIFR (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research), Mumbai. poor course. cant believe i payed for this. all the content is not updated and theres no files from the author
screen is blured on the training. Please see the examples section on Lecture 1. You can't see the screen.
- The content structure must improve
- Some material is missing (5. More Hello World Examples)
- Sometimes the video does not match with the instructor voice
- The console prompt is showed at the bottom at many occurences, it difficulties the reading (clear console and show on the top will improve it)
- There are videos were the instructor is giving explanations but the video is frozen on the slides, it means that we are not watching what is being explained (as reference you can see the latest video, but there are more).
- Few mistakes between the used commands and the ones showed on slides.
- I was planning to return the course and request back my money

the material referred to in the class aren't available and the instructor pushes through some important sections to quickly
Displaying the image of the instructor is very distracting and annoying. The subtitles contain a horrible amount of errors. "Docker" being written as "Dr" "Daka" ... really? "Docker containers" written as "Dr Cantina" ... really?? Dozens of errors in the translation is a huge understatement. This course should be removed from your site immediately or at least rebuilt by someone who has knowledge of Docker with a complete review of the transcript.
