I enjoyed the course. I would have liked more guidance on building rhythms and suggestions for good sounding rhythms to play.

I also found the 'Trad style' playing technique both very interesting and very challenging - but am very pleased that I persevered with it. I still have trouble with it - including being inclined to run out of breath - but I'm grateful that Jonny included it.

I'm keen to go ahead and attempt the Advanced course.

Cheers,
Tony

The first course walked through the basics very nicely and seemed a little easier to follow. I assume that is in part because they are some of the fundamentals and are easier to explain and follow. This course seems more challenging, and some of the techniques will require you to practice repeatedly until you find your way. I've loved seeing some of these techniques take shape through repeatedly trying them out, and I have also seen some of my own develop. I enjoyed the course and will be reviewing the videos as I continue to work on these techniques.

I'm still working on the first course but dipping into this to just have a play around. I can't believe the speed that I'm picking up different techniques. Jonny is a really good teacher and give just the right amount of instruction.
