Step by Step designing of end to end customised framework for Selenium with Java | Apache POI | Maven
Data Driven Framework is one of the popular Automation Testing Framework in the current market.
Data Driven automated testing is a method in which the test data set is prepared in the excel, and is then imported into automation testing tools to use for testing application with different set of test data.
Selenium Webdriver is a great tool to automate web-based applications. But it does not support read and write operations on excel files.
In order to follow this approach we must have Eclipse, TestNG properly configured.

Good course for understanding how to use Data Providers in the automation framework.
Its basic/intermediate information. $12 was well spent. :)
Overall, the class was excellent for filling in some of the gaps from another course provided by a different instructor.
This instructor had us add extent reports and made me think we would get into reporting for TestNG as well, but this was never covered in this course.
No doubt, the course content is simple,good and easy to understand.
Instructor is very good in explaining topics with examples. I wish he could have explained little more in designing the architecure like how to maintain single excel sheet(single excel tab) for data of all the testcases.
For example data for login, registration etc into single excel sheet instead of creating a new sheet all the times.

This is awesome explanation of framework design. They way of explaining is very good.
In the beginning, Instructor has created a common assertion file but it is not used in the example shown. Also, the use of extent reporting is missing from the lectures.
If instructor can add a lecture on how to use common assertion file to assert the results and a lecture to show how to use extent reporting then it will be a complete guide to create an automation framework.
