Making the transition from being a grad student in TESOL, or even from being an ESL/EFL teacher to teaching EAP can be daunting. Please note that this course does not cover teaching composition or academic writing, as those areas would require their own course. A good overview of TEAP with some useful tips, suggestions and resources. Just a small, but important point - beware of using gender/age stereotypes - If your grandma can read/understand it...etc. A student may have a grandma who is a university lecturer for example, or indeed the student may even be a young grandma! Thanks.
