About This Course

Learn BGP for the CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure Practical Exam

The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert is known as one of the most grueling, and most respected, networking exams in the world.  Engineers are forced to first pass a 90 question written exam in under 2 hours.  Questions can range from the most detailed configuration feature to analyzing long in-depth debug outputs. If a candidate can successfully clear the written, they are awarded the right to attempt the 8 hour long lab examination.

Taught by a JP Cedeno, a Technical Solutions Architect at Cisco Systems, this video-on-demand (VoD) series provides 50 videos (15+) hours of lecture and configuration demonstrations.  With the average candidate taking 3 attempts to pass the lab, the goal of this course is to give network engineers an expert-level understanding of the most complex routing protocol in the world, BGP, and prepare them for the configuration and troubleshooting challenges they might face in the exam as well as their career.

Any individual who hopes to someday obtain their CCNP and/or CCIE cannot afford to miss this course!!

This video was hard to follow. Too fast, and too rapid fire. No offense, I just found this video hard to follow compared to the previous ones. AD being only used in protocol versus protocol .... Would really have liked that explained more since I'm still confused about it.

very good content about BGPv4 protocol, I am really curious how to configure BGP adjacency over TCP port 179 and how to implement MP-BGP for PE/CE.

It was good but I am going from one lab to another and sometimes seemsd like next lab has some different base configs so takes me a bit to figure out. Not sure if that is actually better since I spend time investigating; for example 3.3.3.3 was not showing up in BGP table for R1 but was showing up in static. I googled could not find answer but eventually I figured out on my own as I checked R1 and saw it had a static route "ip route 3.3.3.3 10.1.3.3" to R3 and it was just taking static over BGP. Once remove it then it showed up in routing table. So all that investigation probably helped me to learn. Negative was slowed me down but its about learning not time so I guess that is good.
