I took the HTML and CSS course from the same instructor and they were very pedagogical and helpful with most steps spelled out clearly. This one feels like a huge jump in terms of what is expected from the student, and I got lost repeatedly in the later lectures - I don't know if it's just JS which is somehow more difficult, but I thought clearer explanation of each step - esp using the format of "1) this is what we're doing, 2) doing it and then 3) showing how we've done it" would have been useful since it is targeted at beginners. At some points I found myself following along without understanding what I was doing. I did gain an overview of JS, so that was useful.
